Tips for Job Interviews

A job interview is a very important meeting!  Please check out the following tips to assist you with a successful job interview:

  • Wear appropriate business attire-examples include suits for men and women, or dress pants, dress shirt, tie and jacket
  • Make sure that you are well groomed
  • Be pleasant, smile, shake hands with potential employer, make good eye contact, use your manners
  • Do your research on the company
  • Make sure you bring several copies of your resume and are prepared to discuss your strengths and how you can assist the company
  • Provide references when asked
  • Identify questions to ask potential employers
  • Send a thank you letter or email following the interview
