A job interview is a very important meeting! To help you be successful, check out the following tips for job interviews:
- Wear appropriate business attire-examples include suits for men and women, or dress pants, dress shirt, tie and jacket
- Make sure that you are well groomed
- Be pleasant, smile, shake hands with potential employer, make good eye contact, use your manners
- Do your research on the company
- Bring several copies of your resume
- Prepare to discuss your strengths and how you can assist the company
- Provide references when asked
- Identify questions to ask potential employers
- Follow up with a thank you letter or email after the interview
