The business partnership project was established to help students understand the complexities involved in coordinating various business divisions to focus on a single mission. Students are given the task of collaborating and implementing a plan to divide tasks among each other to effectively achieve the project’s goals. For example, this semester’s project involves the creation and promotion of a mock sales website for Western Technical College. This website will contain various information relating to the sale of excess furniture that the college has acquired. It will serve as a database where all information will be categorized into a singular inventory. This student created organization is being called WesternMart, and will potentially have a major impact on how this furniture is sold in the future.
